The Focus Indicator appears as a small vertical green bar to the left of your Story Stream in SoCreate Screenwriting Software. It’s placed on whichever Story Stream item you currently have selected so you always know where you’re at in your story.
To move the Focus Indicator:
You can use up and down arrows to move your Focus Indicator.
Or, you can use your cursor to click wherever you want your Focus Indicator to be.
Or, scroll through your Story Stream and the Focus Indicator will follow along.
When adding additional Story Stream items, know that the new stream item – such as dialogue or action – will appear immediately beneath the stream item on which your Focus Indicator is currently on.
To change where the new stream item appears, move your Focus Indicator accordingly.
