Roadside Attractions (Emily the Criminal, The Peanut Butter Falcon, Manchester by  the Sea) is looking for spring 2025 interns. Interns will be exposed to numerous  aspects of independent film production and distribution. TV & Film Development and Programming Internships: LA - Spring 2025

We have multiple TV & Film Development and Programming internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for all internship opportunities within this area. This could include, but is not limited to: Current Programming Intern: LA - Spring 2025; Creative Affairs Intern: LA - Spring 2025; MAX Drama Originals Development & Programming Intern: LA - Spring 2025; HBO Programming Intern: LA - Spring 2025; Warner Bros. Pictures Development Intern: LA - Spring 2025. Duties could include: Shadowing different programming executives each week and their shows; Desk Temping for Assistants - shadowing real experience for jobs out of college and performing any tasks needed by the covering assistants; Helping update grids, databases, and covering sheets. Having weekly check in's with their manager, going over the past week; The Intern will have exposure to Production, Post-Production, Business Affairs, Legal, Finance, and Public Relations on an ad hoc basis; Previous interns have sat in on meetings, worked on various projects, attended professional development workshops/classes, as well as assisted with basic day-to-day administrative needs (including, but not limited to, basic data entry, copying, etc., and other duties as need and as required); Conduct script coverage, draft comparisons and summaries and research market and trends.

Qualifications & Experience: Passion for TV, media, and entertainment with an interest in creative production/development/programming; Must be a self-starter and strong teammate who can work both independently and collaboratively; Must be highly organized and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines and quick turnaround projects; Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required); Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older); Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA). A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended; Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Duties will include, assisting executives with day-to-day operations, liasing with company affiliates, project research, and script coverage. This is a great opportunity for a hardworking student who is looking to get a start in comedy or entertainment. A strong interest in feature films and particularly comedy is preferred but not required. CTL Scouting is looking for a paid intern to begin work Summer 2024. The  internship will last the summer with opportunity for more, and will require about 13  hours a week, including one full 8-hour office day (on Fridays) and reading/reporting on one book per week outside of the office. The Jim Henson Television Department is seeking interns. Interns will support the  Primetime and Kids Development teams by providing coverage, research, and  collaborating on special assignments and projects. Screen Gems, Sony Pictures Trainee

TriStar Pictures is searching for a Creative Development Trainee. We are a division of the Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group (MPG). The team currently consists of the President, SVP of Creative, Director of Development, Creative Executive, and their assistants. Together they evaluate pitches, scripts, books, and articles as potential projects, nurture relationships with filmmakers, writers, and producers, and guide films through all stages of development, prep, production, post-production, marketing, and distribution. Preferred Preferred qualifications include undergraduate student or recent graduate who has studied or is currently studying in a relevant field, and prior familiarity with film or TV creative development. Screen Gems, Sony Pictures Intern

Screen Gems Pictures develops and produces genre thrillers, sci-fi, action, and horror-themed theatrical motion pictures as a stand-alone unit under the auspices of the Sony Pictures Entertainment Worldwide Motion Picture Group. Since Screen Gems is a small division and has full responsibility for bringing its product to market, our interns are exposed to all aspects of “making movies” as well as what it is like to work for one of the major motion picture companies.

Screen Gems is searching for creative-minded, hard-working, and driven candidates for a development Trainee role. Over the course of the Traineeship, the intern will learn about the Screen Gems brand and the production process (i.e. creative development, casting).

This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.
