Use the Action Duration tool in SoCreate Screenwriting Software to edit action duration whenever you feel automatic timing doesn't accurately reflect the time the action will take to complete on screen.
To edit automatic timing in a SoCreate action stream item:
Click into the action stream item you wish to adjust.
A clock icon will appear in the bottom left. Select this clock icon.
From the dropdown, change the timing from automatic to either seconds or minutes.
Type in your desired timing and click Set Duration.
In the lower right corner of the adjusted action stream item, you'll see a timing note indicating the length the action item should take up in screen time.
This new timing will be reflected in your overall screenplay duration.
