How to Add a Location in SoCreate Screenwriting Software

To add a location to your story in SoCreate Screenwriting Software:

  1. Navigate to the Tools Toolbar on the right-hand side of your screen.

  2. Click add location, and fill out the location details in the pop out, including the location name, an optional description, whether the location setting is inside or outside, and the time of day.

  3. Next, choose an image representing the location by clicking “change image.”

  4. You can filter the images by collection. Then, use the search bar to narrow down location images and characteristics.

  5. Once you’ve found an image you like, click “use image” to save the change.

  6. Finally, click add location.

The location will now appear in the header of a new scene, or wherever you left your Focus Indicator. You’ll also find the new location in the list of locations in your Story Toolbar.
